Winter months at our Virginia bed and breakfast

Wintertime offers an especially nice opportunity to truly relax and decompress. Sit in our Library next to a very warm fireplace and enjoy a book or movie from our collection. This time of year also offers some of the best birding with flocks of Bluebirds, Cardinals, and Geese along with Owls, Blue Herons, Wild turkeys, and many varieties of Ducks. Of course you can still go for a winter paddle, bikeride, fishing tour, or walk on the beach...it is all good and beautiful, you just might want to layer up! Our small and eclectic restaraunts in town are featuring fresh local Rockfish and Oysters, as well as a warm and welcoming spirit. If you just want to hunker down and stay at the Inn, we also offer a warm and hearty Supper Basket to enjoy anywhere on the grounds. In the evening, build a fire in our outdoor firepit with wood and kindling provided by us and enjoy some romantic time with your partner, or great conversation with other guests. Add a bottle of Blue Crab Wine from our honor bar, and you are all set! Then, wake up in the morning to specially brewed and locally roasted coffee as well as a goumet breakfast. All a part of life on the bay. It doesnt get better than this...
