We will take care of getting them into your room for you, and just let us know what message you want on the card and we will take care of that as well. Other colors may be available...just let us know your preferance and we will do our best. Need at least 24 hours notice. Enjoy a Laid Back Picnic

Ahhh, it's almost time for sunset, you are totally relaxed, and you don't want to leave the Inn. But, you gotta eat! Now you can order one of our Picninc Baskets! Perfect for a picnic on the grounds, or take with you as you go exploring the county or a lunch on the beach. Also good if you will be arriving late and want supper ready for your arrival. Our picnic basket includes a garden salad of mixed organic greens, as well as your choice of 2 of our specialties including Shrimp Salad with Basil and Roasted Red Pepper, Orange Rosemary Chicken Salad, Pesto Pasta Salad with Roasted Tomatoes and Walnuts, or Curried Tuna Salad. Our insulated picnic basket also includes double chocolate brownies and bottled water. $38.00 for basket, and we will have it ready for you at your desired pick up time. Add a bottle of Virginia Blue Crab wine in Red, Blanc or Blush for a relaxed dining experience. Call or email for more details.

Long day of traveling and traffic? Just want to hang out at the Inn and enjoy sunset? Order one of our Cheese and Fruit platters to be waiting in your room upon arrival or delivered during your stay. $25.00 includes assortment of cheeses, fruit and crackers. You can also add a bottle of wine, so call or email us and we will be happy to get it set up for you.

  • Sit on top and fishing kayaks available for rent

Kayak rentals are available on site. Explore Tabbs Creek, as well as a quick paddle to the East River where you can see historic homes, Williams Wharf, and one of the last standing tidemills on the east coast. Our kayaks are sit on tops, and very stable so perfect for beginners as well as more experienced kayakers. They are also designed for fishing, if you would like to give that a try! SUP, (or Stand Up Paddleboards), are available for rent here at the Inn. Try out the fastest growing water activity in the world! It is easy to learn and, and we will get you all set up and started with a quick lesson and demo. SUP board rentals are available for $50.00 full day and $35.00 half day. Price includes short lesson and demo. SUP boards are limited, so call or email to reserve your board and time today!
